We had a great time at our annual holiday party honoring the employees who went above & beyond for GCubed this year!
Congratulations to all!
GCubed thanks our nation’s veterans for their selfless service – today we celebrate and honor them. We’re pleased to share some reflections on Veterans Day from two veterans on our team:
“As GCubed founder and a veteran, I know first-hand the sacrifices made to accomplish the mission. After transitioning from active duty, I saw so many veterans suffer in silence. We lost a brother this past week to suicide. At some point we must learn that our service, in that manner, has passed and we must take care of ourselves. Suffering in silence is not the way. Suicide can be avoided. As vets, please seek help. As someone who cares for vets, I ask you to genuinely show concern. Our veterans are a treasure of experience, skills, and work ethic, in addition to dedication, commitment and leadership! It saddens me that this is a continued problem. Please thank a veteran for their sacrifices and keep them in your thoughts and prayers.”

“As Americans we seem to only think of our veterans around this time of year. While serving I never gave much thought as to what it meant for myself, it was more about accomplishing the mission at hand. We get so wrapped up in the day-to-day operations that we forget to take a moment for ourselves on this day. As a veteran who served 26 years, I still think about my personal contributions and remember the contributions of others. It is a great pleasure to work for a company that supports our veterans.
-Tracy Bruner, GCubed Operations & Recruiting
As a veteran-led organization, we and our non-profit partner G3CS are proud to lift up veterans in our community – whether it’s aiding the transition to the civilian workplace via mentorship, hiring veterans and providing opportunities for advancement, or partnering with veteran-led organizations. There are so many ways to honor those who served – we are grateful to have the opportunity to give back.
Veterans Day, formerly known as Armistice Day, was originally established to honor the end of WWI on November 11, 1918. On November 11, 1938 legislation was passed for a new legal holiday that honored WWI veterans. It wasn’t until after World War II and the Korean War that the 83rd Congress amended the Act of 1938 to remove Armistice and replaced it with Veterans to show respect and honor for all veterans.
