GCubed Founder & CEO Honored by Stafford County Board of Supervisors

Congratulations to our Founder & CEO Vernon Green Jr. for being recognized by the Stafford County Board of Supervisors on February 18, 2020 for his contributions to our community! Mr. Green shared a statement about the honor:

“Last night I had the honor and privilege to be recognized by the Stafford County Board of Supervisors for our contributions to our community. I am grateful and humbled by the recognition and the lady I shared the stage with LIVED history! Mrs. Jackson is 88 years old, all here in Stafford and was one of the graduates of the all black high school in Fredericksburg when Stafford didn’t allow blacks in high school. To share the stage with her was an honor! Further, to see the women and minorities sit on the Board shows the progress Stafford has made.

I want to thank my family for their support! I want to thank my team for all of the hard work that goes into all we do. I may have received the award but it is a team win! I want to thank the Stafford Board of Supervisors for this honor. And finally, I want to thank the Stafford community, partner organizations, teaches, counselors; all those we work with to make a difference in our community!
Thank you!”

GCubed Ranks #29 on Vet100 List

Stafford, Virginia – GCubed has been named to the annual Vet100 list—a compilation of the nation’s fastest-growing veteran-owned businesses. The ranking, created in partnership with Inc. Magazine and Syracuse University’s Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF), was born out of the iconic Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies based in the U.S. Both distinctions are considered hallmarks of entrepreneurial success.

Originally established as the Vet50 list, this year’s list expanded to include 100 veteran-owned businesses in acknowledgement of the growing culture and success of veteran entrepreneurs.

GCubed Founder & CEO Vernon Green Jr., a retired U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer, says, “At GCubed, we honor our veterans. We continue to build an environment and culture where veterans can confidently apply for opportunities, seek entrepreneur mentorship, and ultimately, successfully transition from the military to a civilian career. After the sacrifices veterans have made protecting our country, providing an opportunity is the least we can do!”

The Vet100 list will be announced on Saturday, March 7, 2020 in Dallas, TX, at the Vet100 Awards dinner during IVMF’s Veteran EDGE national conference (March 5 – 8, 2020). EDGE is the first-of-its-kind coalition of large companies supporting the success of veteran-owned businesses, connecting them with entrepreneurial education, training, resources, and networking opportunities.
