SENIOR SHAREPOINT DEVELOPER

GCubed Inc. is searching for an experienced SharePoint Developer to support the Center for Army Analysis on Fort Belvoir, VA. We have an immediate need to fill this full-time onsite support position with a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide technical expertise in order to fully utilize SharePoint to identify operational and processing problems, evaluate alternative approaches, and perform, plan, and implement recommended resolutions

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for internet, intranet, SharePoint portal and web collaboration access in the areas of administration and development.
  • Design, develop, and manage site content and capabilities and provide daily onsite maintenance of the existing CAA portals and Web Sites.
  • Ensure Web access is established via military NIPRNET and/or SIPRNET connectivity and other Government provided WAN connections.
  • Ensure access to sensitive defense information will utilize the SSL and will require user authentication utilizing the DoD PKI.
  • Follow Army directives in developing and deploying single sign-on technology utilizing the CAC card and/or Army Knowledge Online (AKO) Single Sign-on.
  • Applies current graphics design and .NET technologies to develop, modify, maintain SharePoint server portals
  • Develops software solutions by studying requirements analysis and information needs; conferring with stakeholders and IT Management; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; performs software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy software solutions.
  • Design, develop and maintain key components of the software suite using classic ASP, Microsoft .Net and SharePoint Server 2007, 2010, 2013, and new 2016.
  • Implementation of SharePoint-based workflows as well as development of Business Intelligence dashboards.
  • Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
  • Build proof of concept examples or graphical simulation software. Then maintain product test software and demos for training purposes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a SharePoint Developer or related position
  • Minimum of an Active Secret Security Clearance

SENIOR UNIX SYSTEMS ENGINEER

GCubed Inc. is searching for an experienced Unix Systems Engineer to support the Center for Army Analysis on Fort Belvoir, VA. We have an immediate need to fill this full-time onsite support position with a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide technical expertise in order to fully utilize Unix Systems to identify operational and processing problems, evaluate alternative approaches, and perform, plan, and implement recommended resolutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Receipt of user trouble tickets or work orders via email, phone, or in person and entering them into an automated help desk trouble ticket/work order tracking system (currently using TrackIT)
  • Performs Backups of Unix File Systems
  • Keep user informed on the status of their trouble ticket/work orders
  • Notifies users when trouble ticket/work order is received
  • Contact users via email or phone to inform of status changes while trouble ticket/work order is in process
  • Notify users when trouble ticket/work order is closed
  • Monitor and follow-up all open Unix trouble tickets/work orders
  • Contact external vendors on the repair of Oracle Solaris serves and equipment under warranty or under a maintenance contract. Conduct follow-up of vendor support tickets until issue is resolved
  • Generate a daily report of the status of all open trouble tickets/work orders to the Chief Information Officer and Chief Technology Officer.
  • Create and maintain user Unix and network accounts.
  • Perform maintenance, security patching, and system updates.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum of at least 10 years of experience as a System Engineer
  • Minimum of at least 5 years of experience as a UNIX System Engineer
  • Minimum of an active Secret Security Clearance
  • CompTIA Security +
  • Completion of one of the following certifications: Oracle Solaris System Administrator (OCA) or Oracle Solaris System Administrator (OCP) or Oracle Solaris Cluster System Administrator (OCP)

SENIOR PROJECT SERVER ADMINISTRATOR

Job Description:

The Senior Project Server Developer will be responsible for developing and deploying custom workflows and Business Intelligence reports within ProMIS, as well as other customizations to the branding and user interface. 

Tasks:

There are front end/client side tasks that may require working with the Server Applications Team.

  1. Troubleshoot and conduct analysis of ProMIS user reported problems
  2. Recommend and perform business, functional and/or technical improvements for the affected modules and business processes, including the addition of business and technical features to existing software
  3. Provide alternative solutions to improve the related processes and assist in exploring possibilities of using new features, functions and modules
  4. Create and run ad hoc reports when requested by users, stakeholders, and Technical Monitor (TM) and verify the reports are accurate and as expected
  5. Monitor and address ProMIS problems with servers and database with support from JITSP-P Operations and Engineering divisions
  6. Revise procedures, operations guide and supporting documentation as needed
  7. Conduct an impact analysis when a new version of Project Server adds new or modified functionality or when any current version that is being used must adapt to a new operating system or server environment
  8. Analyze and evaluate software problems to perform corrections/minor changes and enhancements to support solution
  9. Coordinate the notification of the deployment of release to users, stakeholders, TM, and other impacted parties

Subtask 1 - Operations Support Subtask:

  1. On-going Support: Provide support to end users and desk-side training support as needed by user community to ensure adoption of ProMIS.

Subtask 2 - Training Support:

  1. Train users via a training plan

Subtask 3 – Business Intelligence Development

  1. Excel Services: Allows for the integration of reporting from Excel and SharePoint/Project Server
  2. Project Professional 2013: Desktop application that provides real time reporting capabilities
  3. HTML, CSS, JS, and familiarity with REST API using jQuery Ajax

Requirements:

Over 5 years of experience working with SharePoint/Project Server, with at least 3 years of experience developing solutions for SharePoint/Project Sever 2013.  Must be a Microsoft Certified Professional for SharePoint/Project Server 2010/2013 or other related Microsoft administration or development certification. Required Secret Security Clearance.

APPLICATION SYSTEMS ENGINEER

Job Description

GCubed Technology is searching for an experienced Application System Engineer in Fort Belvoir, VA. We are in search of a capable, motivated Application Systems Engineer to assist team in configuration and maintenance 60+ Web and Client installed applications.  This position will be responsible for management and administration of the applications, to include monitoring, managing, maintenance and performance tuning as well as supporting newly identified projects through involvement during the system inception and design phases.

Responsibilities:

  • Over 5+ years of hands-on Windows Server support and administration responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated experience with Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012 R2
  • Experience and understanding of Internet Information Services (IIS)
  • Experience with implementing security and hardening (groups, roles, privileges, authentication, TDE and auditing)
  • Perform application upgrades as delivered by third party vendors and/or internal development staff in Test and Production environments
  • Develop, implement and maintain in-house O&M and deployment documentation
  • Provide server monitoring, space management, and support
  • Respond to server related alerts and production problem issues
  • Demonstrate troubleshooting and performance tuning of Microsoft Server

DESKTOP SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Job Description

GCubed Inc. is searching for an experienced Desktop Support Specialist to support the Center for Army Analysis on Fort Belvoir, VA. We have an immediate need to fill this full-time onsite support position with a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide technical expertise in order to identify operational and processing problems, evaluate alternative approaches, and perform, plan, and implement recommended resolutions.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide Windows Desktop System Administration services and be responsible for the installation, configuration, overall management of all hardware and software related to CAA's desktop/laptop computing environment.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot the approved standard suite of software. User requests for software assistance shall be submitted through TrackIT/FootPrints service tickets.
  • The contractor is responsible for physically transporting and placing PCs/workstations/ laptops/ printers/faxes/phones to areas within CAA's office building and joining the PCs, workstations, and laptops to the designated network.
  • Respond with answers to user's questions related to establishing network passwords, publishing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificates to support Common Access Card (CAC) login and e-mail encryption/ digital signature, creating network drives, and setting up Microsoft Outlook.
  • Perform manual installation of software, software upgrades, and software security patches on PCs/workstations/laptops.
  • Create and update drive images with GHOST software for PC/workstation/laptop configurations; imaging process shall be automated.
  • Contact external vendors if needed to repair hardware/software under warranty or under a maintenance contract.
  • Perform hardware troubleshooting and repair (using government furnished computer parts) on PCs/workstations/laptops not under warranty or under a maintenance contract.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve PC/workstation/printer to network connectivity issues in response to users submitting a service request through CAA's ticketing system.
  • Keeps PC/workstation/laptop antivirus software up-to-date using automated and manual procedures.
  • Quarantines, cleans virus affected PCs/workstations and laptops. In the event a PC cannot be cleaned, PC/workstations and laptops shall be re-imaged.
  • As part of Daily Status Reporting utilizing Ricoh web interface, remotely monitor status of network printers to identify impending maintenance, repair, and supply needs and report that status to the Government IT Operations Manager through Daily reporting or verbally/e-mail should immediate action be required by Government personnel.
  • Monitor CAA's software inventories tracked within the software tracking spreadsheet and alerts the Government IT Operations Manager verbally or via e-mail when availability issues might be forecasted to occur.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in an enterprise helpdesk or desktop support role
  • Minimum of an Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Security+ Certification (Required)
  • One of the following certifications is required: A+ Certification, MCP, or a Microsoft Certification
  • Experience with desktop support
  • Identify, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders, and replace parts as needed
  • Experience troubleshooting Windows 10
  • Must be able to interact with numerous computer platforms in a multi-layered client server environment
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills a must
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

UNARMED SECURITY GUARD

GCubed Inc. provides professional and customer focused security guard services at the Center for Army Analysis (CAA) and Army Modeling and Simulations Office (AMSO), located on Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Unarmed Security Guards will escort uncleared personnel, maintain access control, and monitor cameras and alarms to ensure that uncleared personnel are not exposed to classified data and materials and that their access to specified secure areas is controlled or denied, as appropriate. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Escort uncleared visitors and contractors, including repair, maintenance, and janitorial personnel working within CAA and AMSO’s office building.
  • Support coverage required 24 hours a day, every day of the year, including holidays so schedules are flexible to include full-time and part-time employment. 
  • Each Security Guard, under no circumstances, will work more than 16 hours in a 24 hour period.
  • Check visit requests using CAA Visitor Access Report/database.
  • Perform access control services which include checking security badges, verify security clearances, issue temporary badges, monitor and respond to security alarms, conduct after-hours safe, security, and safety patrols.
  • Monitor security cameras.
  • Conduct outside perimeter check at least once during a normal 8 hours shift
  • Providing security functions for their building and respond to routine questions normally posed to a receptionist (i.e. location of an employee office, directions or the nearest eatery).
  • Ensure the security office is open to CAA/AMSO Employees and Visitors
  • Check fire extinguishers once a month to ensure they are filled. The guard making this check shall initial and date the card attached to the fire extinguisher.
  • Submit work requests for alarm system maintenance (when not working), in a timely manner so not to compromise building security.
  • Receive incoming mail from USPS and special packaging such as FEDEX or UPS.
  • Monitor television or radio news channel and (if available) email for relevant information on Security, threats, safety and any other information that could affect the security and/or safety posture of the agency.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of  1 year of experience
  • High school diploma
  • Must possess at least a Department of Defense SECRET clearance.
  • Demonstrate the ability to speak, read, write, and understand English sufficiently to execute job requirements.
  • Must have a valid registration/license for Private Security services with the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services - VA DCJS Security Guard License
  • Must pass a pre-employment arrest and criminal history check done through the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) and US Army Criminal Investigation Command Crime Record Center (CRC).   
  • Must pass a pre-employment physical agility test. Test includes: run 1.5 miles in 17:30 minutes, execute 19 pushups in 2 minutes. Test will be required annually as a condition of employment.
  • Must pass a pre-employment medical exam. Medical evaluation is designed to ensure the applicant for a Security Guard position are physically capable of performing the required duties without creating a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or others.  Medical exam is required annually as a condition of employment.
  • Must sign a DA Form 5019 (Condition of Employment for Certain Civilian Positions Identified Critical under the Department of the Army Drug-Free Federal Workplace program) and pass a pre-employment drug test. 
  • Must complete CPR/First Aid Training within 6 months of being hired to work on this contract. Training shall be commensurate with the American Red Cross standard for CPR and First Aid Training

The following potential  shifts are available:

Shift 0600-1400 Sun –Sat 

Shift 1400-2200 Sun – Sat

Shift 2200-0600 Sun – Sat

Shift 0800-1600 daily, Mon-Fri

Shift 0700-1500 daily, Mon-Fri

Physical Requirements

Must pass medical exam and physical assessment test to include: run 1.5 miles in 17:30 minutes, execute 19 push-ups in 2 minutes.
