UNARMED SECURITY GUARD

GCubed, Inc. provides professional and customer focused security guard services at the Center for Army Analysis (CAA) and Army Modeling and Simulations Office (AMSO), located on Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Unarmed Security Guards will escort uncleared personnel, maintain access control, and monitor cameras and alarms to ensure that uncleared personnel are not exposed to classified data and materials and that their access to specified secure areas is controlled or denied, as appropriate.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Escort uncleared visitors and contractors, including repair, maintenance, and janitorial personnel working within CAA and AMSO’s office building.
  • Support coverage required 24 hours a day, every day of the year, including holidays so schedules are flexible to include full-time and part-time employment.
  • Each Security Guard, under no circumstances, will work more than 16 hours in a 24 hour period.
  • Check visit requests using CAA Visitor Access Report/database.
  • Perform access control services which include checking security badges, verify security clearances, issue temporary badges, monitor and respond to security alarms, conduct after-hours safe, security, and safety patrols.
  • Monitor security cameras.
  • Conduct outside perimeter check at least once during a normal 8 hours shift
  • Providing security functions for their building and respond to routine questions normally posed to a receptionist (i.e. location of an employee office, directions or the nearest eatery).
  • Ensure the security office is open to CAA/AMSO Employees and Visitors
  • Check fire extinguishers once a month to ensure they are filled. The guard making this check shall initial and date the card attached to the fire extinguisher.
  • Submit work requests for alarm system maintenance (when not working), in a timely manner so not to compromise building security.
  • Receive incoming mail from USPS and special packaging such as FEDEX or UPS.
  • Monitor television or radio news channel and (if available) email for relevant information on Security, threats, safety and any other information that could affect the security and/or safety posture of the agency.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of  1 year of experience
  • High school diploma
  • Must possess at least a Department of Defense SECRET clearance.
  • Demonstrate the ability to speak, read, write, and understand English sufficiently to execute job requirements.
  • Must have a valid registration/license for Private Security services with the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services – VA DCJS Security Guard License
  • Must pass a pre-employment arrest and criminal history check done through the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) and US Army Criminal Investigation Command Crime Record Center (CRC).
  • Must pass a pre-employment physical agility test. Test includes: run 1.5 miles in 17:30 minutes, execute 19 pushups in 2 minutes. Test will be required annually as a condition of employment.
  • Must pass a pre-employment medical exam. Medical evaluation is designed to ensure the applicant for a Security Guard position are physically capable of performing the required duties without creating a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or others.  Medical exam is required annually as a condition of employment.
  • Must sign a DA Form 5019 (Condition of Employment for Certain Civilian Positions Identified Critical under the Department of the Army Drug-Free Federal Workplace program) and pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Must complete CPR/First Aid Training within 6 months of being hired to work on this contract. Training shall be commensurate with the American Red Cross standard for CPR and First Aid Training

The following potential  shifts are available:

Shift 0600-1400 Sun –Sat

Shift 1400-2200 Sun – Sat

Shift 2200-0600 Sun – Sat

Shift 0800-1600 daily, Mon-Fri

Shift 0700-1500 daily, Mon-Fri

Physical Requirements

Must pass medical exam and physical assessment test to include: run 1.5 miles in 17:30 minutes, execute 19 push-ups in 2 minutes.

INTELLIGENCE REPORTS OFFICER

GCubed, Inc. has an immediate need for an Intelligence Reports Officer with a SECRET clearance to provide onsite support to an existing customer at Quantico, Virginia. This position requires knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in generating intelligence information reports (IIRs), including intelligence information analysis, ability to understand and apply governing agency collection requirements to determine need for additional reporting action, and generation of quality reports (90% error-free). This position is contingent on contract award.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate government-generated information for additional reporting action
  • Draft five reports per day
  • Submit reports for review and final submission according to agency-specified procedures

Requirements:

  • Active SECRET Clearance
  • Two years of experience with Counterintelligence (CI) or Human Intelligence (HUMINT) collection reporting
  • Experience with the following:
    • HOT-R
    • Intelink-S
    • M3 message retrieval system
    • TAC-S classified information retrieval system
    • Microsoft Office Suite

SENIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER

Job Purpose – To provide technical support for network systems, Windows server environment and other internal systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the full administration and management of all network equipment and will provide technical expertise in order to fully administer CAA’s UNET and SNET networks.
  • Use BMC TrackIT/FootPrints ticket submissions for all work assignments and shall respond to critical and VIP tickets within one hour upon notification. Will provide software support to users as requested.
  • Install new modified hardware, operating systems and software applications ensuring integration with IA security integrity requirements for the enclave in accordance with all Defense Information Security Agency (DISA) Information.
  • Maintain the LAN links and connectivity, switches, hubs, routers, servers (Windows and Unix OS), Storage Area Network (SAN), media backup systems, fiber and Ethernet cabling, and other infrastructure components to ensure 100% operability during core work hours.
  • Respond to all TrackIT/FootPrints support request related to Unified Capabilities to include Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and Voice over Secret Internet Protocol (VoSIP) or Enterprise Classified Voice over Internet Protocol (ECVoIP) devices.
  • Will administer CAA’s Trusted Gateway System to ensure that it is operational during business hours.
  • Analyze the network architecture utilizing metrics available from the Government provided network management tool.
  • Ensure communications links are operational for NIPRNET/SIPRNET/JWICS/CENTRIXS Internet and web access.
  • Will make sure that all security patches, anti-virus software and anti-virus signature files are up-to-date on all CAA assets to protect against information assurance (IA) vulnerabilities.
  • Administer CAA’s Hewlett Packard (HP) physical/virtual server farm that includes but not limited to storage area networks (SAN), application servers and Netbackup system servers ensuring all systems are available during core work hours
  • Schedule and perform all system backups in accordance with CAA’s system backup schedule by utilizing the product Netbackup. Monitor system event logs to ensure all jobs execute according to the schedule and record any issues in the Daily Status Report.
  • Install Government Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) server side certificates and implement Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and other secure methods to support access to the VPN and VPN servers, CITRIX and Structured Query Language (SQL) and Oracle servers
  • Configure and support use of the DOD Common Access Card (CAC) and PKI for user authentication onto the network, access to applications, and for signing and encrypting electronic mail.
  • Utilize Government furnished COTS tools such as NEWT Pro, System Center Configuration Center (SCCM) and Symantec GHOST imaging to automate processes for deployment of client software packages

Qualifications

  • A minimum of an Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Minimum ten years of experience and meet the certifications for specialized positions:
    • Obtain CompTIA Server+ certification.
    • Obtain AT LEAST two MCTS Server 2008 certs
    • Obtain MCSA: Windows Server 2008 (R2) or Windows Server 2012
    • MCP Administering Windows Servers
  • Security +CE
  • Working knowledge of VMWare
  • Working knowledge of Windows 2008/2012 servers Active Directory environment
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask

Working Conditions

  • Primarily in an office environment.
  • Must be willing to work weekends on an as-needed basis
  • Must be willing to provide shift coverage between the hours of 7am to 5pm when needed.
