GCubed, Inc. Appraised at CMMI Maturity Level 3

GCubed is proud to announce that it has been appraised at level 3 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration. CMMI is a capability improvement framework that provides organizations with the effective processes that ultimately improve their performance. 

An appraisal at the maturity level 3 indicates the organization is performing at a “defined” level. At this level, processes are well characterized and understood, and are described in standards, procedures, tools, and methods. The organization’s set of standard processes, which is the basis for the maturity level 3, is established and improved over time.

GCubed, Inc. Makes 2020 Inc. 5000 List 

Today, Inc. magazine revealed that GCubed is No. 1,041 on its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. This achievement places the cybersecurity & IT firm among an elite group of businesses such as Microsoft, Timberland, Vizio, Intuit, Chobani, Oracle, and Patagonia, which have all made the Inc. 5000 list in the past.

This is GCubed’s second time appearing on the Inc. 5000 list. Not only have the companies on the 2020 Inc. 5000 list been very competitive within their markets, but the list shows staggering growth compared with prior lists as well. The 2020 Inc. 5000 achieved an incredible three-year average growth of over 500 percent, and a median rate of 165 percent. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue was $209 billion in 2019, accounting for over 1 million jobs over the past three years.

GCubed Receives Top Honor from Virginia Chamber of Commerce  

 

Today, the Virginia Chamber of Commerce named GCubed the fifth fastest growing company on the annual Fantastic 50 list, a ranking of the 50 fastest growing companies in Virginia. GCubed was also named the Virginia Vanguard winner for technology, an honor recognizing the highest growth in the categories of service, technology, retail/wholesale, and overall growth in Virginia.

Vernon Green served 20 years, five months and 18 days in the Army, retiring in 2014 as a chief warrant officer after three deployments to Iraq and one to Kuwait. Today he heads his own information technology and cybersecurity business responsible for 10 major government projects. And he hires veterans like himself.
