Our ReNew program has just completed a busy round of holiday giving to families and individuals of Stafford County, VA. Through our Thanksgiving Dinner Basket and Christmas Dinner Basket Drives, 150 turkeys with all the ingredients necessary to cook a hearty, warm meal for the holidays were distributed.

Our G3CS meals reached a diverse population from Conway, Margaret Brent, and Rock Hill Elementary Schools, including Title 1/ low-income schools Hampton Oaks & Rocky Run. In addition, several meals went to Garrison Woods Apartments (Section 8), Aquia Terrace Apartment Homes (Active Military Community), and all the housekeeping staff for Stafford Commerce Center.

We look forward to doing even more in 2019!

Vernon Green meets with North Stafford Rotary Club

From The Free-Lance Star

ROTARY CLUB: Veteran, business owner addresses group

The North Stafford Rotary Club was fortunate to have Vernon Green at its meeting to explain his GCubed Inc., Community Services and how it helps our community. Green began his company by speaking to youngsters at his children’s school. He taught them to be respectful to their superiors and to take responsibility for their decisions. He describes his businesses as being “small but mighty.” Just as successful personal relationships are built on trust and transparency, Green uses that as a guideline in his dealings with his clients. He also follows the seven core values of the Army in order to be a role model for the children and teens he helps. He specializes in keeping people and businesses securely connected.

GCubed, Inc. honored with HIRE Vets Award

Stafford, Virginia – GCubed, Inc. is proud to announce its selection as an inaugural, 2018 HIRE Vets Medallion Program Demonstration Award recipient. GCubed, Inc. Founder & CEO Vernon Green Jr., a retired Army Chief Warrant Officer, takes great pride in leading an organization committed to recruiting and employing fellow veterans. Mr. Green states, “The leadership, work ethic, and mission first mentality demonstrated by Veterans aligns with our ‘Mission over self’ philosophy. Those intangible qualities are difficult to explain on a resume, but they are critical in the work we do for our clients.”

HIRE Vets offered congratulations, “By meeting the criteria required for a Gold Medallion Program Demonstration Award, GCubed, Inc. demonstrated a model of patriotism worthy of praise as well as a recognition of the value veterans bring to the workplace.” The award recognizes leadership in recruiting, employing, and retaining our nation’s veterans as GCubed, Inc. joins 239 recipients of the 2018 HIRE Vets Medallion Program Demonstration Award ranging from small businesses and community-based non-profits to leading Fortune 500 companies from 42 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.

Mr. Green attended the November 8, 2018 award ceremony in Washington, D.C. where Secretary of Labor, Alexander Acosta, thanked the award recipients for their dedication and commitment to veterans as this program is the only federal-level award that recognizes job creators who successfully recruit, hire, and retain America’s veterans.
