Stafford, VA – GCubed and its non-profit partner G3 Community Services (G3CS) are proud to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Germanna Community College to create new Innovation Campus supporting IT education and career opportunities for students. The campus’ primary location will be located at 10 Center St., Suite 103, Stafford, VA. Vernon Green Jr., GCubed CEO and G3CS Founder, says, “I am excited to work with Germanna on this initiative. This relationship between industry and academia will foster a workforce development program that includes lab development, real-world challenges, internships, and ultimately employment in an industry that requires new talent immediately. Our vision includes Germanna students involved with the Innovation Campus, developing coding and IT skills, potential sponsorship for a security clearance for those students showing the greatest potential, and eventually hiring them or matching them with career opportunities. This is a combination of higher education and on the job training that we feel can produce a ready workforce. Activities and demonstrations for this initiative are to be held at GCubed and G3CS facilities, or the Fredericksburg Center for Advanced Technology (FredCAT).
