Today, the Virginia Chamber of Commerce named GCubed the fifth fastest growing company on the annual Fantastic 50 list, a ranking of the 50 fastest growing companies in Virginia. GCubed was also named the Virginia Vanguard winner for technology, an honor recognizing the highest growth in the categories of service, technology, retail/wholesale, and overall growth in Virginia.
GCubed Founder & CEO Vernon Green Jr. says,
“When I retired from the Army as a Chief Warrant Officer after 20 years of service, I decided to stay in Virginia because of the great opportunities here. As we celebrate six years in business, I never would have imagined that the GCubed Enterprises, Inc. team would be the Virginia Vanguard winner for technology. While technology is the category for this award, at GCubed we believe an organization’s greatest asset is still its people. Our team executes the mission and vision. We take great pride in this award and will continue to develop innovative, effective solutions for our customers.”
To be eligible for the Fantastic 50 Award Program, a company must be privately held with headquarters in Virginia, show revenues between $200,000 and $200 million, and demonstrate positive revenue growth and positive net income in its most recent fiscal year over the previous year. Companies are judged on four-year revenue history. The professional service firm Dixon Hughes Goodman verifies all award entries. The Fantastic 50 Award Program is a signature event of the Virginia Chamber of Commerce and is the only annual statewide award recognizing Virginia’s fastest growing businesses.
